We are a leading company in the field of metal trade, transport and disposal with over 17 years of experience.  Our goal is to be a fair and competent business partner for our customers and suppliers with high competence, experience and flexibility.

Our history started in 2006, when our founder established the company “SM Metallhandel e.K.” in Mannheim, Germany, to meet the high demand for transformer plates from Pakistan. After expanding the field of suppliers to Europe, China and India, the renting of a 100m² hall and hiring an employee in 2007 was took place. In 2011, the company was converted into a GmbH (limited liability company) to meet the growth of the company. Since 2013 we are certified as a waste management company and have rented a larger site with 8000m² in Lampertheim to meet the increasing spatial requirements.

We specialize in the dismantling and removal of transformers and substations and also offer the dismantling of switchgear, transformers and capacitors. Through our authorization under the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG), we purchase transformers from utilities and municipal utilities and dispose of/recycle them properly. In addition, we purchase scrap and metals from private as well as commercial customers. In 2014 we also started accepting non-ferrous metals privately and in the same year we expanded our company premises again. In 2021 we have built an 80t gantry crane and we are planning further expansion of the company premises and vehicle fleet in 2022. For the current year 2023 and the coming year 2024 concrete measures for expansion are already underway.
